Darlene is active in the community as a member of the East Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, the Montgomery County Fair Association, and the Women's Council of Realtors. Other community involvement included various FFA and 4H activities when her children were in school, and her family continues to raise registered cattle catering to prospective junior exhibitors.
