Tom had a long career in the banking industry. He was a Regional Manager of The Private Bank Division at Texas Commerce Bank, President & CEO of Clear Lake National Bank, and an organizing director of Texas Citizens Bank. He served as regional president of Texas Citizens Bank for 14 years. Tom retired from banking and now has a full time focus on commercial real estate.

His service first approach is reflected in his day to day interactions with customers and team members. Tom's business experience provides him the ability to guide a transaction from the start to finish in an organized manner. His extensive contacts in the greater Houston area are a benefit for his clients. Tom's passion for the people he serves is contagious. Tom is the Designated Broker and President and Manager of Clear Lake Capital LLC. He is an Associate Broker at Qualified Properties, Inc. Tom and his wife, Susan, are active members of Houston's First Baptist Church and the Houston Club. He is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Lauren had the honor of receiving both "Rookie of the Year" and "Top Producer" her very first year in the real estate business. It seems like yesterday, but that was over 17 years ago in 2003. Thanks to referrals, wonderful clients, and repeat business, she hasn't stopped since.

Lauren has three beautiful little girls and sees parenthood as the greatest blessing in her life. Her husband of almost 20 years, Nolan, is also a veteran in the real estate business, specializing in commercial properties. They live in the Lomax area of La Porte, and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere there, as well as all of their friends and neighbors.

Real estate for me is such an adventure. I love the whole process. From the first house hunt outing, to the closing. I want to be there for my clients from start to finish.I work in the same office with my Uncle, Cris Barrera. We work as a team called The Barrera Group.It's great for our clients because in essence, they will have two Realtors working for them. I try to take care of all my clients questions, fears, and needs when it comes to real estate. By the end of our experience together, I feel like they are apart of my family. I try to make light of sometimes stressful parts of the process, when some people are upset and angry, I just try to keep it light, laugh, and move on.
